We have the pleasure of witnessing the marriage of couples whose guest list is as small as two and as large as, well, let’s say, really big. Almost all have the beautiful and warm glowing feeling of connectedness and intimacy, warmth and tenderness. The following poem was read by one of the bride’s grown daughters during a wedding celebration where 8 family members were present. The energy of the celebration vibrated with love, healing, happiness, joy and the knowledge that this couple’s love has transformed not only themselves, but the lives of the two generations surrounding them.
What is Love- Unknown Author
Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in the movies.
We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives.
For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams.
Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places.
And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all – one known only by those who love.
