We love the poems of e.e. cummings. We feel he touches into that deep marrow of our hearts. The following poem written by e.e. cummings is a favorite.
love is more thicker than forget
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail
it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea
love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive
it is most sane and sunly
and more it cannot die
than all the sky which only
is higher than the sky.

Hello, I am hoping you can help me find a poem. My beloved husband of 34 years passed away of esophageal cancer 4 months ago. I am devastated. In looking thru our first photo album I realized that the poem I had written on the cover page of our album was missing half the poem. I feel I have to find it as part of my healing. I don’t know why. The poem reads; “love is.. I will give you as much as I can. If you will show me how to give more then I will give more. I can only give as much…” This is where the other half is missing. I do have a photo of the torn poem but I don’t know how to email it here. I appreciate your helping me if you are able . Thank you so much. Ofelia Willis
