A Blessing

May the stars carry your sadness away
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty
May hope forever wipe away tears
And above all, may silence make you strong.

Why no images in this blog? We feel it is the words you share with each other during your wedding ceremony that are the most important part of your day.

Another Irish Blessing

This variation of an Irish Wedding Blessing was used as a reading during a recent ceremony. We especially liked the last verse. Enjoy

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall softly upon your fields.

May the light of friendship
Guide your paths together.
May the laughter of children
Grace the halls of your home.

May the joy of living for one another
Trip a smile from your lips,
A twinkle from your eye
And, today, may the spirit of love
Find a dwelling place in your hearts.
